Manuscript Update

Tara is my fourth memoir and as I have written via this site, it is complete. I was planning to self publish via Lulu or perhaps Amazon but then another option presented itself. The manuscript is now being reviewed and discussed by "powers that be" and when I know, without a shadow of a doubt what is going to happen--I will post again.

I expect to make a final decision within two weeks.

What is Tara about? Tara is the life story, retold, from the vantage of being adopted. Having found my birth mother, which is actually a very small part of the story, I am able to solve the mystery of my origins. I am also finally freed from the demons that have haunted me since my birth--primarily around being abandoned by my mother and my family.

My greatest hope for Tara is that it opens the conversation around the topic of adoption and brings healing to this much abused and misunderstood method of acquiring children.

Yes, there was a chapter excerpt on the site but I have removed it until a final publishing decision is made. THANK YOU for all your letters and interest in this book. Please feel free to write me, via this site. I would love to hear from you.
