Pearl

Click on this link to read the letter from Joanna Macy, in response to the election of Obama. It is heartening and inspiring.

Like so many other American's, I don't have complete confidence in President Elect Obama but frankly, I absolutely zero confidence in our system of so-called democracy. Since Bush won the first time, it was clear the elections were being rigged and the power base was full of a spreading cancer.

Before the election, I had my Canada escape plan in place. I needed my kids to know that I was seeing and ready to act.

Now we can relax...for how long? Well, we'll see. But this letter from Joanna is good and provides hope.

May we become a wiser, kinder people...soon.
